Exquisite Corpse is a visual project and partnership between Parsons and the Sydney College of Arts, The University of Sydney.

The basis of the project is to investigate the use of photographic and media practice as a trans-cultural, analytical tool for social and aesthetic observation of the City. Student and alumni participants from New York City and Sydney traveled to and worked on site in each city for a period of 3 weeks.

Students collaborated with their partners from the partner institution to develop a body of work that responds to their experience of both cities, in one instance as an insider and in the other as an outsider. This framework of the project provided the structure in which to examine cultural dislocation via the medium of photography.
